Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for estimating, proposing, and managing fire alarm, intrusion, video surveillance, and access control projects for national and local clients. This role demands excellent customer service, strong communication, and organizational skills to successfully oversee multiple projects daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, trade partners, and designers to assess opportunities, develop solutions, and create project scopes.
- Estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs; prepare proposals, scopes of work (SOWs), and warranty documents.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, specifications, safety standards, and best practices.
- Manage project costs to meet profit goals and maintain accurate tracking for revenue and workforce planning.
- Coordinate with administrative and finance teams on project details, AR/AP responsibilities, and ERP data.
- Stay current on industry products, technology, and standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in the low-voltage industry.
- Expertise in designing, estimating, and managing fire alarm, intrusion, video surveillance, and access control systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word in a Windows-based environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
Additional Information:
- Base salary range: $85-95K (+ bonus! On target bonus around $10K annually)
- Location: Onsite in Eden Prairie with the ability to travel to projects nationally up to 15% of the time!
